Anthemis complex of apartments is built in an area of 11.000 m2 in the seaside resort Stavros northeast of the city of Chania.

For those who love trekking there is a rural road that connects Stavros with the monasteries.

On the way to Stavros from the historic and commercial centre of Chania the route through the aristocratic suburb of Halepa includes short distanced sights such as the residence of Eleftherios Venizelos (probably the most significant politician of modern Greece), Prince George’s palace, the old French Academy, mansions of the 19th and 20th century, the Russian-style Saint Magdalene church, the church of Virgin Mary’s Annunciation and the old tanneries at Tabakaria. A little further from Halepa within a small park overlooking Chania there is the hill of Prophet Elias with the Tombs of Eleftherios and Sophocles Venizelos.

There are three lovely cafes next to the Tombs known for their amazing views and the delicious desserts they serve.

Guests have the opportunity to experience authentic Cretan and Greek cuisine at the restaurants and taverns of Stavros and the nearby areas of Chorafakia, Tersanas and Kalathas.

Around Anthemis at the area of Stavros there are supermarkets and mini-markets while in a distance of 2 km there is a pharmacy. Also a wellness spa is 100m away. In the district of Kounoupidiana 6 km away from Stavros there are big super markets, bakeries, banks, petrol station, post office, restaurants, coffee shops and more.
